Bessie works hard to get everyone their order on our delivery days. Bessie delivers in Calgary on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Edmonton Deliveries are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
We will contact you with delivery options and will do our best to work to your schedule and location. If you order before Tuesday morning, we should be able to get your order for Tuesday evening!
We pack all orders tightly and carefully into insulated packages that should keep your food frozen until the end of your delivery day.
Bessie will deliver to your provided address. Bessie will give you an email or text notification that your order is out for delivery and confirmation upon delivery. If you are not home (and not reachable), your order will be left in its insulated package at your address.
If a problem occurs with your package, we will do our best to figure it out and solve it!
Raised Without Hormones
Bessie doesn't implant growth hormones because it simply isn't necessary for our animals and the space they are raised in.
Grass Finished
Bessie animals are 100% grass and silage raised (silage = chopped up fermented grass) - spending the majority of their time grazing on pasture.
Raised Without Antibiotics
All Bessie animals are raised without the use of antibiotics. Any animal treated with an antibiotic (for life-saving reasons) will then be removed from the herd and the meat will not be sold to any customers.

How Do I Change Details Of My Order/Subscription?
Use the Account Management button (top right "person" icon) to login and make adjustments to your Bessie account. Your Bessie account allows you to change your order contents, skip scheduled orders, reschedule deliveries, pause subscriptions, and more!

How Long Will It Keep In My Freezer?
A long time! Health Canada recommends that beef maintains quality in the freezer for 10–12 months. Bessie products are vacuum-sealed and should be able to maintain quality for long periods of time in the freezer.
